2024 President's Appeal Mission
"You can make in impact..."
This Cedar Catholic President’s letter is an invitation to you to make a difference in the day to day school life of Cedar Catholic students. An annual gift assists the weekly, monthly, or fiscal year budget for the costs of Catholic education. Supporting Cedar’s annual appeal is a way of helping “put spiritual and academic food on the table” for our Catholic high school. Thank you for your generosity to assist forming future disciples and leadership.
Your Gift to This Appeal Will Support:
- Teacher salaries and benefit increases.
- On-going costs for academic advancement.
- More provisions for faculty and staff professional development programs and services.
- Rising costs of transportation needs. (School and activity bus expenses.)
- Technology updates in classrooms, for teachers, and our websites

Cedar Catholic Mission Motivators:
- Cedar provides holistic education of the body, mind and soul.
- Offering challenging academics integrated with Catholic values and morals to develop students spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
- Students participate in the Living the Faith program by making time within schedules to serve others. All students are in Discipleship groups, regular
- religion classes, weekly and special Masses. Some are part of Campus Ministry, Mass cantors, lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and servers. All participate in daily classroom prayers, parish, school, and community service hours per semester, class religious retreats, Advent service projects to help in and outside of the community, and annually hosting a seven-Catholic-school Youth Rally for elementary students.
- Students earn academic awards per semester. An average of 95% of students, seventh through twelfth grades, earn the Honor or Merit Roll.
- Cedar students have set record ACT scores. In the past eight years, graduating seniors have posted six of the highest class averages in the school’s history. In that time, several have posted scores of 35 and 34 out of a possible 36. Several 29 and 30 scores have also been accomplished. An average of six seniors have qualified annually for the Mid-State Conference Academic Team, requiring a minimum ACT of 26.
- Twelve college credit courses are offered for head-start college opportunities. Approximately 40% of our students graduate with at least one semester of college credit.
- And the many accomplishments in extra-curricular activities the fine arts, music, and athletic programs.
